This is a piece of history surrounded by a beautiful and unique series of hamlets. If you are wanting to stay at a clean and friendly location central to this quaint area. Remember, you are staying in this place and it is not supposed to be a Disneyland. You get transported back in time to when vacations were simpler and the attractions were outside of the hotel.

Stayed here for a wedding and it was great! Blanca helped us check in and she was absolutely phenomenal. Very warm and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend enough!

Great Stay at East Norwich Inn – Perfect for My Trip to New York I stayed at the East Norwich Inn while in New York for a Jiu-Jitsu competition, and my experience was excellent. I’ll be honest — I was a bit concerned at first after reading some negative reviews, but everything turned out much better than expected. The hotel delivered exactly what was advertised. There’s no breakfast, but that’s clearly stated in the booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. The place is clean, well-kept, and the housekeeping staff does a great job keeping everything tidy, including the bathrooms. We were a group and booked five rooms — all were in great condition, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are quiet and dark, perfect for resting after a long day. The staff was very kind and helpful, both before and during our stay, and communication was easy. The location worked perfectly for us. Right across the street there’s a great place for breakfast called East Norwich Bagel, plus a nearby market. It was also easy to order food through Uber Eats, and there’s an ATM close by. I definitely recommend the East Norwich Inn — just make sure you know what you’re booking. It’s an Inn, so it’s meant mainly for sleeping and resting, not for luxury amenities or full-service facilities. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and convenience at a fair price, this hotel is a great choice.

Checked in on 11 21 25 for 1 night, stayed on the first floor section 2 area. The room appeared very clean at first so I thought. I found some food crumbs under one of the guests beds, not properly vacuumed underneath was unusual for ENI. Then the morning on 11 22 25, check out date, I woke up, turned the light on and I was so appalled to find a live cockroach sitting on top of the night stand by the lamp. The night stand was between the two guests beds. I notified the front desk. They let me know they will address the matter promptly. I am very, very disappointed and very concerned!! I immediately shook out all my bags and clothes and intend to wash all the clothing in hot water and wash the bags. For extra precaution and fear, I didn't even bring my bags into the house yet. Like I really need this! I have stayed at this hotel for 15 plus years when I travel to LI. I also stayed there just 3 weeks ago for one night in another room, in another section, section 5, I saw no bugs or roaches then. I have to question what kind of crowd are they now bringing in?! This has been, in my opinion.A higher end hotel (in the past).Now i'm really beginning to doubt that. I don't feel comfortable to return there after this experience. Seems like things have gone down hill and not as Eco friendly hotel as it once was. Now I'd be afraid of bed bugs too! I was once told by a former ENI worker, ENI did have past bed bugs. But that has been taken care of to rid of the bedbugs from what the former worker said. In my opinion when you have roaches then they are at a very high risk to have bed bugs again if they don't already. I hope ENI brings this hotel back to a Eco friendly because it really is a nice Inn. It is a shame this happened it can happen anywhere unfortunately. The hotel seems to be catering to a different target demographic than in the past, which impacted my experience. Beware and take care!

The East Norwich Inn is a beautiful, charming hotel with a classic, old-fashioned style that really stands out. It’s very quiet, peaceful, and feels safe, which made my stay enjoyable overall. If you appreciate a calm atmosphere with character, this place definitely has that. There is no breakfast offered, but that’s not a dealbreaker since there’s a very good restaurant right next door and a pizzeria nearby, which makes food options easy and convenient. That said, the front desk experience is extremely inconsistent. On some days, you’re greeted by two wonderful women who are friendly, professional, and clearly care about their jobs — they truly make the stay better. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. One front desk employee, Rob, was particularly nasty and rude during my stay. He was dismissive, unhelpful, and gave off the clear impression that he did not want to do his job at all. In addition, the older man who works the night shift is often asleep at the desk, which is both unprofessional and concerning from a guest-safety standpoint. Despite these issues, I would still recommend the East Norwich Inn because of its charm, quiet environment, and overall sense of safety. However, management seriously needs to address the behavior and professionalism of certain front desk staff, as it makes a noticeable difference in the guest experience.

It is the nicest hotel within reach of my daughter's home. The place is comfortable, and the cleaning staff does an excellent job. Good, affordable restaurants are very close.

Best location, clearness was not bad. Good rooms. But the staff who was in the front desk , we experienced really hurting feelings. Very very bad attitude. When we asked the directions to our room 320, he was like in a very attitude way behaved.
